Executive Leadership Program

The UConn Neag School of Education’s Executive Leadership Program (ELP) is a one-year program designed to provide aspiring individuals outstanding preparation for taking on the leadership role and responsibilities of a superintendent of schools and other district office leadership positions. Graduates of this program qualify for the Connecticut superintendent’s certificate (093) and possess the knowledge necessary for successfully meeting the challenges of today’s superintendency.

The ELP program will host information sessions once a month from November through March, as we approach the April application deadline. The info sessions are held virtually and feature program coordinator, Kelly Lyman, in combination with esteemed ELP faculty and alumni, to answer your questions and share pertinent information, in a safe and convenient way.

Please check back soon for 2024-2025 information session dates!
